Our Shuttle bus is not available until further notice. To reach the hotel from Schiphol Airport, please use public bus 397 direction City Centre. You will find bus 397 at bus platform B17. You can buy the tickets in the bus. We do apologize for the inconvenience caused.

What was the highlight of Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West
Perfect for a night before your flight.
The room was very clean and large, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than our scheduled check-in time but they were able to give us a room. We only stayed one night so we did not try breakfast.
The hotel itself is great, but it is very far from the city center, and farther from the airport than you realize. It's only on a bus route, not a train/tram stop. The bus stop is a few hundred yards away from the hotel, so you definitely have to walk a ways to get to it. If you have luggage, and the weather is bad, I don't recommend taking a bus to (or from) the hotel, get a taxi instead.

About what you'd expect but trips into Amsterdam Central add up.
Very tidy rooms with ample space. Reasonable value for money. Easy enough to access central Amsterdam through bus. Simple trip to the Airport when departing.
Beware that getting into Central Amsterdam whilst easy can add up in costs as I was charged 6 euro for basically every trip into the city centre. Also the shower is setup in a way that floods the floor everytime it was used.

What was the highlight of Mercure Hotel Amsterdam West
Friendly and peaceful hotel, with good facilities, out of city centre but good transport link.
The hotel was in a good position for us, not far from the airport with a good bus service. It was out of the city but easy and quick to get there, and nice to come back to a calm environment at the end of a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was very good with an excellent choice, and the staff went out of their way to make sure all was as required. The evening meals, although a limited menu, were very good value for money.
Decor in the room a little tired, but it was clean and all facilities as expected.

Great location for those needing to be close to airport
The look was clean and very comfortable. Location was great as I wanted to be close to the airport and not necessary the city itself.
Because it was far from the city centre, it wasn't easy to walk around but still very good location.
